Je viens de m'offrir un mini caméscope Flip Ultra HD 3, et après quelques heures d'utilisation, je suis ravi de mon choix et suis certains qu'il me sera très utile lors de mon prochain voyage au Canada ou lors de réunions de famille pour filmer mon neveu.

J'ai décidé d'écrire cette note car apparement, j'avais raté un épisode :
Il apparait que CISCO a décidé de mettre un point final à la production, la vente ainsi qu'aux 550 emplois cachés derrière la gamme FLIP.

Logique compréhensible vu l'évolution des modèles de smartphones nouvelle génération, cela dit le FLIP aurait pu continuer à se vendre encore un moment.

Ce que j'aime dans le FLIP

• la facilité d'utilisation, pas de menus compliqués, juste quelques boutons
• interface dans la langue de l'utilisateur, détail important pour le grand public ne parlant pas l'anglais
• une fois chargé, la possibilité de capturer 2h de vidéos en 720p
• connectique complète : avec du microHDMI et un connecteur spécifique "FlipPort" permettant à des sociétés externes de développer des produits étendants les possibilités du FLIP. Ajout par exemple d'un micro supplémentaire afin d'améliorer la qualité audio. Mais l'arrêt de la production du flip a entrainé l'arrêt du projet de micro pour flip dont le prototype paraissait des plus prometeurs
• reproduction des couleurs assez vives lorsque la lumière est bien présente

On peut passer sa vie à la recherche de cet idéal, mais pour ma part, le FLIP me comble sur de nombreux points au regard de mon utilisation.

Apple growing faster than Android

Research from Kantar Worldpanel ComTech has given everyone an interesting insight into the world of the Apple iPhone versus Android handsets. It has been announced that Apple's share of the smartphone market in the U.S. has grown and in the last quarter of 2011, it had doubled to 44.9 per cent. Apple products have always been popular with many people, and this just proves that they are still growing in popularity. This is happening not only in the U.S. but also in Britain and Australia, where Apple is also growing faster than Android. Nine countries in total are seeing sales of Apple products grow faster than its rival, which just shows that success for the company has definitely been taking place on a global scale.

In the fourth quarter of 2011, Apple sold 37.04 million iPhones, which is an extremely impressive number. There are now so many people around the world who own one of these mobile phone handsets, having it in their bag, in their pocket, or lying on their desk while they work or play partypoker . Apple's CEO, Tim Cook, has said that the company has even managed to surpass its own expectations. They expected to sell a certain number of handsets, however they ended up exceeding this amount and were short of supplies. This issue was especially pronounced in China, where demand was huge.

The most popular phone from Apple is the iPhone 4S, although the iPhone 4 and the 3GS also contributed to these impressive figures. This shows just how big and varied the market actually is, and that Apple is managing to keep up with the different requirements of its consumers. The Apple empire is continuing to grow and according to this research, it is showing no signs of stopping.

Don't panic, take a deep breath. Here is how to fix the problem.

1) Download via ftp libcurl

ftp://fr2.rpmfind.net/linux/fedora/updates/14/x86_64/libcurl-7.21.0-6.fc14.i686.rpm

2) Install libcurl

rpm -Uvh --force libcurl-7.21.0-6.fc14.i686.rpm

3) Edit /etc/ld.so.conf.d/zend_server.conf
add /usr/lib at the beginning of the file

ldconfig

Apple n’a qu’a bien se tenir, son iOS, le système d’exploitation qui équipe ses iPhone et iPod touch n’est plus le seul à innover. La concurrence, Google en tête, a compris que pour rivaliser avec le téléphone à la pomme, il fallait aller au-delà des applications et innover, voire libérer le système.

Aujourd'hui, Android n'a plus à rougir de la comparaison avec son grand rival. La preuve ?
